Zakopane – Dog Sledding Adventure

Zakopane, a picturesque town located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, is one of the most
popular tourist destinations in Poland. There are numerous activities to do, but have you
ever considered a dog sledding adventure? This unique experience is one of the most
popular attractions in Zakopane, especially during winter.

Husky Reserve

The dog sledding adventure takes place at a husky reserve, which is located just a few
kilometers from the center of Zakopane. The reserve is home to more than 100 Siberian and
Alaskan huskies that are trained for sled dog racing. Visitors have the opportunity to interact
with the dogs and learn more about them, their training, and their lives in the reserve.

Why Choose Dog Sledding Adventure?

Dog sledding is an unforgettable adventure that combines stunning landscapes, fresh
mountain air, and the company of friendly and energetic dogs. It’s a perfect activity for
families, groups of friends, and couples who want to experience something unique and
exciting. The dog sledding adventure is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness, and no
previous experience is required.

What to Expect?

The dog sledding adventure typically lasts around one hour, during which you’ll ride a sled
pulled by a team of huskies. The route will take you through snow-covered forests and
valleys, providing breathtaking views of the Tatra Mountains. The huskies are friendly and
well-trained, and the mushers (the sled drivers) will guide you through the journey, sharing
their knowledge and experience.
During the ride, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the scenery. You
can also interact with the dogs and learn more about their lives and the training they receive.
After the ride, you’ll have a chance to warm up with a cup of hot tea or coffee.

Dog sledding adventure is a unique and unforgettable experience that is perfect for anyone
visiting Zakopane. It’s an excellent opportunity to get closer to nature, learn about huskies
and their lives, and enjoy stunning views of the Tatra Mountains. We highly recommend
booking a dog sledding adventure with a professional guide to ensure your safety and
maximize your enjoyment.

It’s better to book tickets in advance to avoid problems with availability.
